Indochine 1956-1964

It's actually the 1946-1954 one.

I have the Winter War, and it's excellent, IMO. Really looking forward to the other titles, East Africa in particular.

Looks interesting
Wargame, 05% of the time.
Play with Barbies 05% of the time.
Play with Legos 10% of the time.
Build models 20% of the time
Shopping 60% of the time.
Exlains why I buy em more than I play em.

I'd be interested in Afrika Korps, and a possible Russian Campaign successor to Fall Blau. My preference is for hex-based maps, but area-based may work fine. Nobody else seems interested in remaking the old AH classics. Maybe this SGS game engine will scratch the itch, who knows?
The goal is to create a generic but flexible tool, complete with code and game editor, to allow the design and production of games, with a focus on the history years from 1850 and later.

Anyone have more info on these games. The Afrika Corps one has twigged my interest.

What is the complexity scale?

Do they have PBEM capability?

I found out it can be played PBEM.

Thanks for the review link. But it's not too helpful to me as a PBEM player. The reviewer basically gives the game a negative review because of poor AI. He makes no mention of PvP.

Anyone played this game PBEM?

I've had an interest also from only for Philthib doing Finnish Winter war. I've also 'libertad o muerte!' -Miguel ex designer for AGEOD games- which does seems solid for pbem play. But I think there is not much place to find pbem play. Pity these games seems solid no way to find pbem player.

This Afrika Korps game looks very promising. Check it out:

I have been waiting for donkeys years for a North African Campaign PC game. Maybe at last this is it.

I will be up for PBEM when this is released.

+1

Their Fall Blau game looks interesting too, but it's only 1942. Perhaps a sequel would cover the entire Russian Campaign. Something simple at corps-level with monthly turns, that would be great.

I've been more active on Steam lately. Put this one on my wish list to keep an eye on it.

It uses areas, not hexes. That neither good nor bad, it is what it is only.
Dropped by the discussions. Looks like it is a bit rough, but is actively being updated.

It's worth keeping an eye on still. It's on sale, a modest price for those that want to explore it.

I've been a fan of Wars Across the World since its inception. I love the card driven nature of the games. Some of the scenarios have been a bit rough, but the developers have been good with constant patches and they respond to questions. I am looking forward to Halls of Montezuma:
