Re: New Matrix Forum
Zovs your sig pic does now take up way less screen real estate on the new forum. The problem still exists that the new forum is not scaling signature pics the was the old forum did. I am sure your same sig pic was not being displayed so large on the old forum before you resized it down.

Click on your login name in the upper right, then choose "User Control Panel". Then click on Board preferences. Then click on Edit display options.defekt wrote: Fri Feb 25, 2022 1:22 pmI'm not trying to have a pop at you but 80-90% of your post screen size is signature fluff; eats up a lot of screen acreage and makes the forum awkward to scan.Zovs wrote: Fri Feb 25, 2022 12:28 pm Here it at 40%, let me know if this helps or not.
I can also try 30% and if that fails I can remove it.
Getting rid of sig images entirely, for every user, would improve browsing no end.
Mine is set to "Yes" for Display signatures. Try setting yours to "No" and see if that does what you want.

Thank you and I agree, it seems its just the signature section that is not scaling images, the post sections seem to be scaling just fine.USSAmerica wrote: Fri Feb 25, 2022 1:53 pm Zovs your sig pic does now take up way less screen real estate on the new forum. Is there a way to make the font size larger? It's very small and I find it hard to read.

Re: New Matrix Forum
Will take some time to get use to and like most of my generation I hate change even for the better.
On the most positive side, a very great improvement with looking at and posting from my smart phone which I'm doing now. Don't think I've ever made a post to this forum before from my smartphone.

Re: New Matrix Forum
P.S. I just made a post w/jpeg from my PC and I have to say I really like this new forum format! I love being able to drag and drop my jpeg into the message box. For me, I'm finding this new format a GREAT improvement!

Re: New Matrix Forum
Maybe so, but it only affects what you see, so it's not like they would be turning off for the entire forum.defekt wrote: Fri Feb 25, 2022 2:58 pmSeems like the nuclear option for only a handful of offenders.witpqs wrote: Fri Feb 25, 2022 1:56 pmClick on your login name in the upper right, then choose "User Control Panel". Re: New Matrix Forum
I still really, really hate the colors, look, and sizing of the new forum.
So disappointing that hardly anything was changed from the testing phase.

Re: New Matrix Forum
I am really happy that now it is possible to post multiple images in a same post via a forum.
And not more threads with a jpg only, while in other threads it possible to use png/jpg. It was driving me crazy.
Thanks for this much needed update!

Once again, I appeal to the gods who be: I am not receiving notifications on a regular basis. Perhaps I have done something wrong? What should I do on my end to try and correct this?

Re: New Matrix Forum
What have you tried? Have you explored the new interface thoroughly? Did you turn on email notifications to subscribed forums in "My Forums"? Did you go into the User Control Panel and turn on the in-forum notifications there?Gunner Garidel wrote: Sun Feb 27, 2022 6:03 pm Once again, I appeal to the gods who be: I am not receiving notifications on a regular basis. I apparently have a similar issues with being unable to upload files.
If I try to reply, this is all I get:

Does anyone know the significance of yellow logistics points? They appear to be related to hex-side crossings. I haven't found any reference to them in the manual.

Re: New Matrix Forum
Currently doing a AAR GG war in east 2 and for some reason attachment screen shots wont open.
You can certainly add the attachment and sometimes it even asks you if you want to " place it inline " you say yes then preview or submit it but the screen shot is not even there.
Dont understand it was working fine 24 hour or so ago.
Sent PM to the administrator just want to know if anyone else is having the same issue.
