As a former member of the 82nd I was wayyyyyyyy underwhelmed at what i saw, i too will give it a couple more watches , hopefully the acting and tactics as well as an unbiased look at the war will develop.

Best/most realistic movie about my contemporaries IMO was "84 Charlie Mopic".
The dialogue was spot on. Beaucoup. There it is......

I'm a former infantryman from 25 years ago, though not a combat vet.
I saw 84 Charlie MoPic.

Yah, it was pretty good.

But overall - all I can say to anyone is I can't even stand to watch 90% of the crap made today. So all I can say is...."What the hell did you expect?"

I cannot be bothered with ths show any longer...there are too many real soldiers dying in Iraq right now, that I'm in no mood to watch a bunch of overpaid actors play out this war on TV.....I guess for me the timing is just wrong whether the show was good or not.....
