Unable to get a link to work for some reason. Warsaw, on the 1944 Warsaw Rising, is on sale on steam. 45% off. Here are some details if you are unfamiliar with it.

WARSAW is a challenging WWII turn-based tactical rpg taking place in a war torn city and sporting beautiful hand painted graphics. Lead a small, dedicated outfit of civilians and soldiers with their unique skills in their fight to take back the city besieged by occupying forces.

20% off for all Command Ops2 modules:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5218 ... and_Ops_2/

This is a nice deal which runs until May 1st
Also you get an extra discount if you complete your modules bundle.

Picked up Knock on All Doors for less than EUR 15,- as this was the last game module still missing in my collection.

You can get your Steam keys via LnL - at least you could, it has been a while when I got the keys.

Looks like the game has similarities with Darkest Dungeon.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Hmm an awesome bundle just for the WW2 games alone. Massive deal for a hardcore wargamer.
Wargame, 05% of the time.
Play with Barbies 05% of the time.
Play with Legos 10% of the time.
Build models 20% of the time
Shopping 60% of the time.
Exlains why I buy em more than I play em.

I know nothing about those games. I know that I don't have the time to learn them all.

I think it is worth to know Rasputin and Corto Maltese in this sale at least in Russian Civil War about AGEOD. I've been in there since 2011.

La Cour Secrète Des Arcanes for a film.

That is a great selection of games - even if you just spend a few hours trying them it would be worth it.

Unfortunately for me I have them already.

Since they were recently mentioned in another thread I’ll point out that American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 are currently 75% off on Steam.

There are also free demo downloads for both.

The review from Lerxst at the top of the Most Helpful Reviews says it all very concisely. I am in full agreement with his assessment.

Phoenix Point: Year One Edition for half the price.

Game looks like it's made on XCOM: Enemy Unknown engine, but is packing more features. Soldiers have inventory, there are equipment around the maps to be picked up, and soldiers can even exchange their stuff. Projectiles are modeled realistically, so instead of hitting the target, bullet may hit the cover instead and damage/break it. Or hit an enemy behind the target, or friendly too near the line of fire. Weapons can be aimed at body parts or even at the weapon held by the target. This game has many excellent points of Jagged Alliance 2, UFO: Enemy Unknown & sequels & derivatives etc. All in modern package with elegant interface. I just wish camera controls were better and game would have larger variety of equipment at the start.

Bottom line: This game stands proudly on shoulders of the giants! I rather keep playing it than return to Xenonauts or get started with OpenXcom.

You got me at made on XCOM: Enemy Unknown and then i saw the system requirements.
It will be a cold day in hell before i get a new PC, it will take a lot for sure. Firstly, i´m NOT going to pay Microsoft for a second copy of Windows 10, yes, there´s workarounds to that as well but not going to become exhausted over games now.

Looks rather good though, perhaps.
Installed Crusader Kings II for free through Steam. I fear only that it will end up with me feeling for this like i did for Europa Universalis 4. The combat system in that one was horrible. I like it so far into it but that´s just after scratching on the surface of it.
I got married really fast with some chick i thought was suitable, it´s that easy huh? OK this is just a game, now waiting for a child to plop out as well, i chose a male one as the preference how the heck they back then could control such a thing beats me but so be it.

If i get around to it i give a better opinion about it later for what it´s worth.

Huh? I didn't even bother to look at it when I bought the game. Let's see... Oh, wow. I make a guess min requirements are oversized. Maybe testers didn't have older hardware available? Lowest resolution is 640 x 360 and this was said on game's Discord server:
I have Athlon II X4 840, RX550 2Gb and 12gb of ddr3 RAM - works fine on 1080p low-medium settings
Should I try the game on my outdated laptop for you?

[edit]
Can you provide details about your computer?

Why the hostility? I saw you trying take a bite out of one other old forum member here in another thread, please don´t try it with me now. It will get ugly. [:D]
No, why should i? Provide details about my PC´s specifications? I just made a point at that this game is not for me until i get a better one, OK?
