I was deeply saddened to read your post, Rhonda. Your participation on this forum has added much content that would otherwise have been missed. You have done well here and made a little bit of the world a better place. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry to hear that, I have another friend currently battling an aggressive cancer.

Write and spend time with grandkids sounds like the right way to approach this phase in life.

Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness that I share that I have been diagnosed with metastatic kidney cancer, which has spread through my body, including my brain. My daughter is with me here as I undergo some treatments that will help ensure that I can maintain the best quality of life, for as long as possible given my condition. We are not sure how long I have, but I am hoping to spend time with my grandkids, write my autobiography, and simply enjoy life.

I am going to withdraw from political issues and will likely reduce my overall presence on Matrix but will continue to correspond as I can and look forward to hearing about your lives and sharing your stories. I am struggling with speech and writing due to my condition, so please excuse typos in future posts.

Love & Peace
Far Dareis Mai

I am a two-time cancer survivor, though in both cases they were cancers with high cure rates. Been through surgery, chemo, radiation. Keep fighting. Fight all the way. Live all the way. Cherish every moment you have on earth. Embrace family and friends. I pray that you have peace and live bravely.

I'm not often in the General Discussion area, but when I venture over I always like to read Rhonda's threads. I'd don't think I've ever posted in one. She won't even recognize my name. But I know hers. And I looked forwarded to seeing photos of her goats or horses or the Arizona scrub land. Or reading stories about cold winters and trying to keep hot fires in a rustic and ramshackle house.

So, Rhonda, you are part of a community. We appreciate who you are. You get a sense here of just how hard your news has hit the people who know you. We are all saddened and pulling for you. Grace and peace and full blessings to you and your family (and your goats and horses) as you fight this battle.

Rhonda, I will pray and pray for you and your family...and place your name in our Prayer group at church if you don't mind. May the Lord Christ give you peace.

Very sorry to hear this, Rhonda. We haven't passed many posts back and forth, but even my wife is aware of you due to your "Goat Tales" since my wife and I plan to get goats in the near future.

Best of luck in dealing with all that you are going through!

I only know your posts - not you - but your courage came through as you battled various trials on the ranch. There is one who has conquered death. It is something I'm sure you have considered.

Rhonda, I'm speechless. I wish you the very best in the coming months ahead. I wanted to thank you for the kindness of our previous conversations, I just read the latest.

I hope it gives you some comfort that you will live on in the memory of the core Matrix community members as our grand ole lady of strategy.

Take care of yourself and your family the best you can in this trying time.

Rhonda, I opened your thread on the day you posted it and still can't find the right words.

All I can say is try to stay strong and spend the most time you can with those you love. You have made an impression here in the matrix forums and so I am sure you have made an even greater one which your family.

I am not a religious person, but my thoughts and hope go out to you.

Please stay strong and please, strength prevailing, give us information on how your treatment is developing. Even if is a short PM to your closer forum friends, I am 100% sure they will pass it on.
