Matrix Games for Mac??

Post by Adam Parker »

Hi all, it's been a long time between visits.

Just wondering if there are any short term plans to provide some of Matrix's stable in Mac format?

I know that Fields of Glory, Battlefield Academy and Unity of Command all via Slitherine offer this already - so maybe there's hope.

But I would buy Panzer Corps and Conflict of Heroes at the drop of a hat if they could be too. [&o]

I'm not one to play with a Windows partition or emulation - it's pure Mac for me these days - so please don't forget us. There's a lot of us rabble who've been lured over to the Light Side by iPhone and iPad! [:D]

Keep well everyone,
Adam.

As evil as people think that Microsoft is, over the years they have given game devs tools to build games. Like heroin, it is hard to get them to use other things that would work on other platforms. Those other things, like OpenGL, have their own headaches for devs.

I keep trying to get Matrix/Slitherine games to work in wine on linux. Battle Academy works fine. Maybe you could try wine for some games on Mac.

Conflict of Heroes uses .Net, DX, and XNA tools that I cannot yet get to work in wine.

I keep trying to get Matrix/Slitherine games to ...........

The Beatles wrote songs and EMI was the publisher.

Developers debelope game and Matrix/Slitherine is the publisher.

You need to make the comment where the developer will see it - in the specic game forum.

And so I do... probably annoy them with it...

Just visited the Lordz site and it seems that Panzer Corps is destined for the Mac and iPad "Q3/Q4 2012".

Time to celebrate. Bring it on sooner please - the whole series!

Hope the Matrix store covers them.
