Field of Glory: Kingdoms

Post by gamer78 »

It is out today. As an Ageod fan I've played Field of Glory Empires a bit. How is the new game. I didn't like easy challange of CK'3 Even a decade old Knight of Honor 2 were better challange in early game. Any remarks from beta testers. I think is only for solo play but that's ok.

So far it looks good. I've only played the tutorial and a turn or so of the El Cid campaign. Still learning the ropes. It's got a lot of depth, but the game appears very stable and solid.

My question,if this is the place to post it, has to do with the option to upload field battles into and from the Field of Glory game. As a nube, I'm playing Kingdoms on "Balanced." But on FoG Medieval I generally play on "Duke" or "Prince" level. When I load a field battle from Kingdoms, will the complexity settings on the Field Battle be set to the level of the Kingdoms game (here; Balanced), or will it give the AI larger armies because the FoG balance is set to Duke?

Thanks for the reply. I think there is still random factor (some unit composition) exporting battles. At least it was in Field of Glory 2. Overall campaign design with auto battles I hope is good&difficult enough.
