G G War in the East

Someone please help! My War in the East Multiplayer hasn't worked for months. In a nutshell, I can begin a multiplayer game, complete my first turn, and send it to an opponent. When the game comes back for turn 2, the game will not load. Apparently it's being blocked. Slitherine tech support has been working on this for months and recently informed me they had no further suggestions. I have redownloaded the game, reinstalled Windows 10, and disabled security and firewall software. Slitherine claims I am the only person in the world reporting this problem. Is anyone having this issue with this game or any other multiplayer type games? Any suggestions are welcome since Slitherine tech support has officially given up.
