Well though not set in the future this looks like it will put the new Microprose game to shame.

I'd prefer something turn-based, but this is intriguing. Already wish-listed.

Those two are totally different and can't be comparable

MNW is a simulator with real (as open source data can be) submarine, weapons and targets, real topography and ocean behavior and SONAR physics, ....

Carrier Command 2 is a Real Time Strategy game with totally imaginary ships, world, ...
