Is this an offshoot of Command: Modern Operations? Most of those screenshots look pretty much from that game.

It looks fantastic! May I ask do you know if it is going to be quite approachable for a newbie? I would love to give it a try but I am no expert. In fact, I would rather call myself a greenhorn. I am deeply interested in submarines, especially the Second World War period but my knowledge doesn't, sadly, transfer to the ability to be good in strategy and simulation games. Nevertheless, I would love to give it a go once it is out.
