Reserved demolitions

Post by Zumwalt_446 »

Would reserved demolitions (prepared demolitions to occur on order) be controllable at the BDE level (i.e., appropriate for the command scale of FCSS) or only at higher levels (>= DIV)?

The reason I bring this up is that we are currently only able to execute hasty demolitions and not pre-planned ones at key chokepoints (bridges, narrow roads, etc.). It would add an interesting dynamic if we could additionally have these pre-placed demolitions in reserve and able to be executed as the situation requires.

Right now, those rigged-to-blow bridges are set by the scenario designer and are some of the blow bridges seen at scenario start and are outside of the player command control. Same for the "no-blow" bridges if you have engineering assets.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
