Getting dead freighters to move...

Post by LoBlo »

Is there something I can do to fix my dead freighters late game? I have 8 planets that need resources and hundreds of dead freighters (with plenty of jump range) sitting at my major hubs but not doing anything.

Is there something that I'm missing or doing wrong?

Two things...

1. Do you actually have enough resources, this can be a serious issue in the late game.

2. Perhaps slow the game down to rather slow pace as the multi-threading might not be able to keep up properly thus there begin to arise problem with the logistics.

I think it only becomes an issue once I graduate to large freighters. Seems like medium and small freighters never have the issue.

Going to restart an earlier save and play with only small/med freighters to see what happens.
