BUG in Message Log Icons and behaviour Q&A and Ideas

Dear Community,
dear developers,

I have still one questions regarding the icons shown in picture show below but aswell some wishes that you could hopefully implement.

First of all the question what those little icons tell us.
- The green Checkmark
Answer: it is set an auto to do this if we do not decide against it
- The red cross
It is set on auto not to do it, we can decide for it. When time runs out, what the icon shows will be done
- the Notebook
?

Now my wishes that would come in handy when playing this game, cause this Message Log informs as, talks to us and keeps us busy and is THE tool to inform us about everything.

So, it would be very imporetant to keep the work on it as simple as possible.

• Keep the moves for the mouse as short as possible.
This means from hovering over the message with the pointer, we have to move then down to select dismiss, decline, show me, dismiss.
Those are at the bottom at the window. There we have to go to.
Now maybe the icons above are supposed to fill a role in the future?
If pressing the red X it could be dismiss, the notepad could be the show me and a green checkmark could be the dismiss/OK.
Than we would not have to move the mouse around so ofter and that for every message again and again.
Also, a rightclicklike working now is very useful, but the delay is too long. clicking faster than let ssay a second is not working, we have to wait lobger, maybe this delay could be faster and the animation and closing of the windows/icons could be faster.
this leads me to the next wish:

• The icons could be customized in more ways:
- they could be in the short (closed state) from the beginning, and
in the options menue some selections could be made:
when hovering above the message:
open with window, open only wide, stay closed.
-animation time
selectable in seconds with 0.1 steps from 0 to 1.

Now I think I found a bug where the display behaves different than executed.

If you assign a mission, the closing mini icon shows a red X. It should show a check mark.

I am surprised this thread did not get more responses.

I am thinking I should have known about the green check mark and the red x representing default resolutions if not interacted with by the player.

The messaging system is quite an important mechanic and deserves QOL attention. In late game the messages fade too quickly and some times cannot even be interfaced possibly due to some performance measures implemented, despite attempting to halt messages progression with PAUSE.
