Kursk DLC is buggy

Post by t341 »

Lots of problems with the new Kursk DLC. Cuts out often and when you try and save a game it ends the game.

Hi t341 we have a patch coming out (hopefully next week) that will fix the issues with Kursk.

Can you explain what you mean by trying to save the game as that is not an option - saving is all done automatically?

Hi

The Lutschi scenario will not save. It does get displayed in the list of saved games but will not load when selected , The game returns to the main menu.
Also some of the maps seemed to have LOS issues. Target in range and in LOS but unable to shoot at hex. Will try and record examples when I come across them.

The panzer grenadier units in Kursk have an APFP rating of 4 on their counterbut actually fire with a rating of 6.

The Tiger in the screenshot can shoot at the half squad adjacent to the 57mm ATG but cannot shoot at the ATG even though it is in LOS and is shooting into the fire arc of the ATG.

In the next Soviet defensive fire phase the 57mm ATG which I couldn't target in my fire phase shot at and destroyed the Tiger that I was trying to fire in my axis fire phase. I have come across a few instances of this in the Kursk scenarios.

Thanks for reporting this. I found the reason and there will be a fix in the next update.

This is not a LOS issue (in this instance). The AFV is in a bunker hex and there is a bug whereby the rules re infantry being in a bunker can only fire in the direction the bunker is facing also being applied to AFV that can not be in a bunker and therefore this should not apply.

This will be fixed in the next update. Thanks for reporting it.
