Novice question

Post by Phoenix100 »

Just bought this on steam and I was wondering if FOW is modelled? I started up Pavlov's House and seemed to have full info on all enemy units. Is there no fog of war? Or do I need to select it somewhere? Thanks.

Yes - Valor and Victory definitely has Fog of War (FOW). And it's selectable, in the lower left of the screen where you select the scenario. You can use the 'Field Glasses' to see what units can see a specific hex.

Good luck with 'Pavlov's House'. That's a difficult scenario I haven't been able to win as the Germans.

I will point out that FoW was not initially a feature and only added later. So there was discussion about it in the first few months of release. That might be part of the confusion.
