Administrator Mode

Post by rmwood6426 »

Somehow when I installed the game the desktop icon shows I am running the program in Administrator mode. How can I revert out of Administrator mode? Also - speaking of desktop icons can someone post an image of what the icon should look like? My desktop short cut icon just shows 3 horizontal lines across a blank peach colored back-drop? Seems a little off to me for some reason...

These are what my icons look like.

I don't have the game installed in the default location, so I have the administrator mode running.

Looks like my icon is correct (sorry for the unusual inquiry). Would I need to uninstall and then reinstall the game to get out of administrator mode? When I attempted to shorten the short-cut name on my desktop for some reason the program would not allow me to do so unless I ran it in administrator mode.

Yes, I believe so, I think the only way is to install it in the default location that the installer requests.

I don't like being told what to do though... but, there's a price to pay. Ha!

That would be the flag of the Government of South Vietnam.

As you've noticed, the Matrix installer installs the game run under Administrator role. Easiest way to change this would be to paste a new shortcut to your desktop, and under properties, to tick of the setting. Depending where you installed your game, that might not be a good option, as the game needs access to certain folders. I for oen kept it as it was installed.
