Red Phoenix?

Post by SwampYankee68 »

Question for the Devs:

I see that the NK TOE goes up to 1985 now, any chance that a "Red Phoenix"-inspired DLC?

I would be very happy to support your work by purchasing a DLC like that.

The game is great, just getting into the 2.0 beta now PBEM. the scenarios we've been playing PBEM pretty much since release are top-notch, I really appreciate how you've interpreted intense tactical jungle fighting in the PC / digital boardgame format.

Writing that made me think that if it interests you, a purchasable DLC of a 1980's Reagan-era US intervention in South America, something akin to Victory Game's 1987 Central America would sell well, I would hope?

Sorry to badger about stuff I want, but you know, I want it, so... haha.

Something like this won't be available as a DLC, but as I have time, I will develop hypothetical (and historical) scenarios with North Korea. These things will will be included in future updates as time allows.

I'm really glad you're enjoying the content so far!

Instead of DLC's, if you wish to support the team there is a patreon site, an amazon wishlist and a paypal link for donations.

Every little bit helps!

What is the plan these days? I know the later half of Vietnam, and Iran-Iraq war. Of course there is Cold War and EF3. What can we expect this year?

This year you can expect another update for Vietnam and Middle East.

I'm not sure yet what those updates will include since we are just releasing the new updates.

Hi Jason,
Been following the games for a while. Will there not be any DLC for sale in the future? Almost sounds like nothing that's being developed will be sold. There was talk in the past about DLC for each game, Middle East, Vietnam, and the WW2 version. Seems like you guys have been working quite a while and with what you posted about what your hoping to release this year there will nothing to buy anytime soon. Seems like something has changed. Not that I'm complaining about free stuff but would like to support you guys will a purchase. So are there any plans to sell any DLC's anytime? At the end of the day I can always buy another copy of Middle East and Vietnam and gift them. You guys do benefit from purchases of those games, right. I don't do Facebook and didn't see any Amazon wishlist on the CSlegion site for consideration.

This is one of my favorites game series, I appreciate the work you guys do. Thank you.

Good day, budd

Thank you for your support and questions, it is appreciated. But no, it's far too much overhead to managed DLC's for the small team, so we decided we'll just release the core games and then add updates to them as we can, much like we are doing with Middle East and Vietnam.

If you're interested in supporting, here are the following social:

Hardware Wishlist:

Book Wishlist:

Patreon:

PayPal:

Thank you again for the support, it really does mean a lot and goes a long way, especially as the cuts from the game sales are pretty small compared to the effort.

Boy the books seem to be a PITA, out of availability and all.

Given how much I appreciate the game and want more of it, I went with the patreon.
