Crashing when assaulting HQ - Battle of Na Sa

The game is crashing during The Hedgehog - The Batte of Na Sa (playing as the French) when I assault a pair of enemy HQs+leaders.

I have attached a save and the log folder. The log folder was cleared before I booted the attached save and attacked the HQ.

To Reproduce: in the attached save, have the two paratroopers on 28, 27 assault 28,28 and win (presumably killing, or at least displacing, the 2 HQs + 2leaders on that tile).

Oh yes, that crashed.

Makes me wonder why, that's so bizarre. I've played this so many times!
