Just watching the latest Operation Starlite video and see that while most of the enemy units have VC bases that one or 2 have NVA ones with the yellow star on a completely red field.

Are these NVA as opposed to VC units?

Many thanks
Ian

I also see in game turn 18 that it appears to be possible to have an inflight chopper in the same hex as an enemy unit ?

Yes, of course.

You can fly over enemy units.

And you can walk over enemy units if they are in tunnels.

A data error due to using the wrong platoon for the company, I will remedy that for 1.01.

Are all the units and platoons just generically named? Just beginning to watch the playthrough of Operation Starlite in the unit pane I just see things like "Marine Platoon 65" or "Gunship (Hog)" rather than a "1st platoon/D Company/5-46th Bn" that sort of thing. Is there not a defined chain of command that each platoon/company/battalion belongs to? Or how is that represented? I've not really played the campaign series so please forgive my ignorance.

No, the order of battles are properly defined, here is a screenshot from Operation Starlite that shows you where to find that information for each platoon.

You can also use the Status - Find Org to see the sides order of battle for the scenario

I'll be live on Twitch tomorrow night - 6PM Pacific, going over the final few turns of Operation Starlite.

After which we will start something else.

I'm thinking Street Without Joy - Operation Camargue

Good choice !! ...Not sure you will be beating up the VM as much as you have been beating up the VC in Starlite though [;)]
