a general tip for for everyday CS play!

Post by Achsah »

in my experience i have found in both play modes that taking shots without good reason is a major shortcoming in players. ai is worse although i dont know the vietnam ai all that well yet CS is basically a game of movement! This is all under what i call general principles. without that the game is rather dull. no? as a qualifier with movement in mind, one must know when to fire! experienced players can even be guilty of this fundamental sin. what sin? taking shots that draw fire you dont want is one consideration but why take a 1-3 shot unless you want to draw fire. enter the disrupted units role! among others i am sure. draw fire with disupted stuff at any range ammo considerations come in also. and take shots for prep or defnsive fire only at odds that will at least have a chance for a kill or disruption. firing for retreat result seems possible in counter recon. of coarse odds better then 1-2 are even better. cheers mates
