Looks good, thanks for making/sharing.

Little note regarding the "German Cross Insignia" you use on the German Panzer in your Channel Background picture (and in one of the videos [Army comparison]). You use the "Eisernes Kreuz/Tatzenkreuz" with rounded arms, the version you use is the current version of the Bundeswehr (current German military) which chose the "rounded" version to relate to the army/armies before WW2.
Generally the Wehrmacht afaik never rly used rounded versions on their vehicles at all.
Also for planes the Eisernes Kreuz was changed to the Balkenkreuz already around the end of WW1.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback. I completely overlooked the cross, and missed it! Good catch I’ll change it in the near future.
Just released episode 3 if you guys want to check it out!

That's a cool video. I'd use it to plot historical paths for these infantry divisions, but there's no way (at 100 settings for moral and logistics) these divisions can travel that far (as far as they actually did) on turn one of the GC. Don't get me wrong, WitE2 is my favorite game. But it's sad that one cannot duplicate the actual distance travelled by these infantry divisions during June of 1941.

If you are into following the historical paths actually used (nothing wrong if you are not), then feel free to use or modify this attached spreadsheet. It contains the (as best as I can discern) hex paths of each corps; corps transfers; division transfers (not all, as some divisions bounced from one corps to another, then back to the original); other stuff I use (more than happy to explain, PM me with any questions).

My previous spreadsheet was woefully incomplete. This one is much improved.

I did subscribe to these videos; really nice work. Very well done.

ALSO! My best source - lexikon-der-wehrmacht - lacks 1941 maps for the XVI Korps.
Your video will allow me to refine this corps' movement!

I haven't watched them all yet, but I will. I'm a big military history buff, the Eastern Front in WW2 always captivated me more so than any other conflict. I am sure your research is time consuming. I have spent many hours on my spreadsheet (which will be further modified based on your videos, and I need to fill in some locations for the XXIII and or XXXX corps); so, I am aware of how difficult it can sometimes be to obtain any given unit's location at any particular time. Your efforts are much appreciated.

If you want some original German maps (and other information) from the eastern front (but from other fronts as well), go to

'DEUTSCH-RUSSISCHES PROJEKT ZUR DIGITALISIERUNG DEUTSCHER DOKUMENTE IN ARCHIVEN DER RUSSISCHEN FÖDERATION'.
https://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/de/ ... -fond-500/

It's a German Russian project of digitalized documents of the Wehrmacht, captured by the Red Army during and after WWII. Although I have to say that sometimes the digitalization leaves much to be desired and to read those documents isn't easy. But still very interesting.
