Yes, you play 7 days and then Soviets play the exact same 7 days.LittleBen wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 6:58 pm Hi all,
I just got this WITE2, but I played a little WITE1. There's something I don't understand.
1 turn is a week, so on the first turn, when I will move my troops it will be during an entire week. But on the air phase, for the missions I may choose which days the missions will take place ! That's surprising !!
All the more, for the recon missions, soviet troops won't move before the end of my turn, so what does it changes that I do these missions on day 1, 2 or 7 ???
The chance to choose between the days in the Air War has 3 reasons I can come up with.
1. Each Plane can only fly a certain range each day, also some get damaged, those will then get repaired and supplies refilled/mileage reduced the next day(s), so you can fly again the following day already/eventually. If there's no supplies around to be transported to the airfield, they will not fly.
2. The same planes can do different missions in a week (when not "directly assigned" to one specific Mission), so you can give order to all Bombers of a Air Army to bomb city A for 3 days and city B for the other 4 days.
3. You can "counter" enemy missions. If both players do their missions 7 days a week this is redundant ofc., but if one player only flies missions on Monday and Saturday you'd know exactly when to set your Air Superiority Missions to counter him, without wasting Planes/Supplies on the other days.
