Unit colors

Post by Rodwen67 »

What is the maximum screen resolution ? I hope that 2560*1440 will be allowed.

Is there a system which allows to change the color of the units. In WITE, the internal color was editable but it would be a a step forward if the external color were editable too.

It would be nice if instead of going with RGB numbers for colors we were given a palette to choose from, or a color wheel.

The unit colours can be changed and do have a sophisticated palette to help you choose (see screenshot). The counter colours are not editable in game but can be modded using a graphics programme but are restricted to one colour per nation.

I'm not sure on the resolution question but I do know some testers have been using 4K.

...and why not adding the unit's name (ex: 541 Inf Div) inside the counter?

The “y” key does that in WitW. The name (temporarily) replaces the counter values. I assume something similar will be implemented in WitE2.

ty LOKI considering the new screen definition potentialities I was dreaming counters permanently bearing their unit nama and (not or) other unit info like movement and combat values. Probably it sounds too demanding but the game will gain much from that

Having both would be very nice.

It would indeed be very nice, doesn't have to be on by default but an option for those wanting it on.

Can you re-colour a selection from the Generals report, ie. colour all low/medium/high experience/morale divions green/yellow/red fx? I would like to be able do designate different tiers of divisions with a single colour indicator, instead of having to check or remember 100s of units. Or re-colour the one at the time.

Thanks!
