How do I continue after Auto Victory?

My opponent and I have reached Auto Victory, but we would like to continue on to Berlin. Is that possible?

Currently no. In the next update we plan on releasing a new 41 Campaign scenario that eliminates the auto victory conditions. If you don't want to wait, you can do that yourself by simply loading C41 into the editor, going to the map, to the victory screen, and deleting the sudden victory/loss goals. Then just save the scenario with a new name. Down the road we may be able to add a way to continue after the auto-victory in the standard scenario, but we wanted to give players a way to play on now if they want. The only catch to the new scenario will be that at the end of 1944 there will still be the check to see if the Soviets have exceeded the German HWM. If they haven't, they lose. This is necessary to add the early war incentive for the Germans to increase their HWM if possible, and the Soviet pressure to not give up ground too easily.

I often liked to continue games in WitE1 after achieving victory. The trick was to edit the last save before meeting the victory conditions and set the values to zero or delete them. So the "save" transformed into a new scenario. I'm not as far into the game with WitE2 now, but perhaps this is also possible there. If so, you could continue without having to start all over again.

Personally I think that all scenarios should have the option of continuing play after Auto victory is triggered.
