To rail the troops around every unit has a weight. But where can I see how many weight I can transport in a turn?

You will not find such information. It all depends on the capacity of the railway. Each railway has a certain capacity, a double-track railway is larger, a single-track railway is smaller. The totality of all railways determines the maximum capacity of the railway. In addition, this is affected by the number of railway stations of level 2 and above, which provide railway cars and locomotives (trains) at a certain distance. If you do not connect them to the railway and repair them, then your railway will not be fully used.

By the way, you can always find out how much cargo was transported along the railway line by multiplying the railway load by 6. For example, for a double-track line, the normal load is 5416 * 6 = 32496 tons. In this case, the railway has a yellow color. When transporting more cargo, the railway turns red, if less, then green. If all your railways are green, but not enough cargo has been delivered, then you need to look for the reason. Either your depots are not set to level 4, or you don't have enough trains (train stations).
