WitE2 Engine for War in the Pacific

Hello all,

Be really interested to know if their is any plans by the devs to update WitP (AE) to the WitE2 standards in terms of Engine, UI, and map developments???

I think this would be awesome!!! I spent a lot of time getting my head around WitP AE but then stopped simply becasue of the overhead I could see with the UI and Map Interface....

I would like to see a hypothetical 1941 Japanese invasion of Russia.

Also a Southeast Asia / Burma / India campaign

Unfortunately I think Mr Billings said that was not going to happen, though I cannot find the thread now :roll:

Wish the same. WITE2+WITW+WITP AE combined together in one unique game can provide record-breaking sales for 2by3, Matrix, and Slitherine but some previous developers of WITE and WITP AE , such as Keith are not in the company for many years already. Pavel did an excellent job to improve engine but without the able to change hard coded sections and adoption to newer Windows forms, I think that it is not possible.
Just an opinion from a regular user.

I'm truly fan and veteran of WiTE, WitW and WiTE2 with over 4000 h of play, but now I'm waiting for Steel Tigers.
