German Manual - New Translation

Post by Granatenwerfer100 »

Hello,

unfortunately, the German manual (IIRC a community project) is no longer available. It is a very pity, but it doesn't matter. I started my own translation project. I've already come quite far. It is a lot of work, particularly to reconstruct the layout after the translation process. I used deepl for translation. It is a paid service, but worth it, because the quality of translation is better than using google translator. I have adjusted the size of the manual to the German DIN A4-format. So I have more space for slightly larger characters and I have the possibility to enlarge the pictures in the manual. My goal is to map the pages 1 to 1.
Furthermore, I have the ambition to implement the living manual into a translated German manual. It was plenty of work. What will also cost me a lot of time is editorial reading and revision of the content, because KI translation by deepl made some major mistakes, sometimes.

Two words are unclear to me: 1) interdicition and 2) theatre boxes. Can someone help me with a good translation/explanation of these words, please?

Hi Granatwerfer,

Thank you very much for your efforts.
I would be delighted if you would make the translation available to the general public.
I am very interested in it.

I also use Deepl:-)

Best regards

Hello wieschi,
I would like to send you a private message. Is that possible?
There is too little feedback here for me to offer the German manual, which I have revised, to the public.

As my english is not the yellowe from the egg i would really appreciate a german version of the manual.

Also i'm sure that a lot of other german speaking players aren't on this forum but on the steam forum. So posting a link there will maybe hit more interest there i think.

So please keep up the work to make your version of the manual public.

I'm also sure the devs will implement it in the game files once it's released.
