RE: New Test Hotfix for 4k / High DPI issues
We are working on it. We have something in testing that scales the map items and many of the various windows/screens. There's still more to be done. The native scaling probably won't be in the next public beta we release, but it's a high priority to get it out as soon as we can.

Thanks for the update. 👍
I've been beta testing myself for decades.
RE: New Test Hotfix for 4k / High DPI issues
Hi. Question on resolution. I am running ver 1.00.11 on my laptop with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The game has the upper portion cut off on the top. Is 1920 x 1080 supported? Or do I just need to change a setting somewhere.
Thanks
Pat
Thanks

RE: New Test Hotfix for 4k / High DPI issues
I am waiting eagerly for it. It is just a little bit too tiny for my eyes to play a long session at the moment for me. Good luck for you to solve all occuring issues
RE: New Test Hotfix for 4k / High DPI issues
4k is not always 4k issue.
Let me clarify.. I see my 4k fine but at a certain distance from my monitor aka smart tv my 4k setting create a mini map experience where I can punt and run off my dest in office,, again 4k but closer to eyes, or if I was really motivated take a chair and sit a few feet closer ..
THANK you for at least supporting high rez..
I am confident in game scaling will show up soon

RE: Instructions for 4k / High DPI issues
I have just started a savegame and switched scaling to 125 %. I don't have the time to play tonight so I could just have a peek look. For me, my problem with the size of the game seems to be solved. As it was asked in another thread the upper column doesn't have to be scalable for me.
Thanks for your work

Doesn't look like your question ever got answered. Yes, the game supports 1920x1080, in fact that's what I use (windowed mode). If you're still having a problem with this, especially when using 1.01.02, please include a screenshot of what you see if possible, and perhaps a dxdiag. Thanks.

Hi Joel. 1.01.02 fixed my display/resolution issue. No more top edge cut off. Fills the screen nicely and square at AUTO 125%. Thanks for the heads up to download 1.01.02 and see if resolved.

I replied to your post that 1.01.02 fixed my display issue. With 1.01.02, running windowed mode (1920x1080) with Auto 125% no issue with cut off screens.
Yesterday I downloaded 1.01.03 and now notice Auto 125% is no longer an option. Only AUTO 100% is available. I am now back to my original issue where my screens are back being cut off on top. Any thoughts on this, or are there more fixes/changes coming for scaling after 1.01.03?? I reverted back to 1.01.02 for now.
Thanks

RE: New Test Hotfix for 4k / High DPI issues
I still have 125 as an option on my computer, but that's the highest I can go. I don't know if Pavel changed the mechanism for determining what is possible in 1.01.03. I'll ask him about that when he returns in a few days. Did you try deleting your preference file (wirpref.dat in the dat/save directory)? I also run at 1920x1080 normally, so I'm surprised you are having this problem. Have you attached your dxdiag before? It might be useful.

I deleted the wirpref.dat file. No change. I will attach pic to show only AUTO 100% and 100% now avail in 1.01.03. I also attached dxdiag.

Screenshot of AUTO 100% or 100%. AUTO 125% is no longer in 1.01.03 running 1920 x1080 on my PC.

RE: New Test Hotfix for 4k / High DPI issues
It looks like you have the windows text display setting set to 125% before you even run the game. With it set like that, you can't put 125% in game scaling on top of the windows 125% display setting. Is this something you recently changed in windows? In any case, from what we can tell, at 1920x1080, if you have windows display text setting set to 125%, you will not be able to go to more than 100% in-game (so this is WAD).

Hi Joel. Thanks for the feedback. I did not change any settings when I was going from ver. 1.01.02 to 1.01.03. You are correct my display settings (scale and layout) are set to 150% which is what windows recommends (probably cause laptop and super hard to read at 100% running 1920x1080).
Anyway, I guess I was confused as why without me changing any settings on my PC and going from the jump in versions 1.01.02 to 1.01.03 I saw issues with scaling? Appreciate any additional thoughts you may have on this. I attached a screenshot of my display (scale and layout) for reference.
Thanks
Pat

8/23/21 Update: Downloaded 1.01.07 and my scaling issue is no longer. AUTO 125% works great and I did not change any settings on my PC (text display = 150%). Not sure what the resolve was, but wanted to let you know. Thanks for your help and looking into my issue.
