bought game but its on Steam

i bought the game WITE2 but it seems to be entirely on Steam. I really wanted it as a download from Matrix, did i get something wrong? and can i fix it?

Which storefront did you buy the game on?

If you bought the game through the Matrix store, then you should have a Matrix game key + the ability to claim a free Steam key. If you bought the game through Steam, then you only get the Steam version of the game.

Since you bought it from the Matrix store, you should've been provided with a game key that's compatible with the Matrix standalone version of the game. You likely received an email confirming your order that should include the game key. In addition, if you've registered your game to your Matrix account, you can find all relevant game downloads in the My Page area of the website here: https://www.matrixgames.com/member/mypage
