OOB missed updates in the Scn 44 May start.

Can I assume that in the 44 may start scn, the OOB TOE for the heavy SS Panzer Battalions should be the same as the regular army units ( and that an update omitted them) - I just wanted to check as I am making a mod of the 44 campaign.
You cannot just change the TOE, it seems - I tried to make them the same, but it does not work - does it need to be done manually?

The OB file is a generic file, so you either have to lock your generic data to make a change in the scenario file, or you need to alter the generic OB file and save that off. In the 44 campaign, it looks like the units aren't fully created. The OB file is fine, you just need to edit the units themselves to make them match the OBs (if that's what you want to do). I will move this to the data area and Randy can answer as to what was intended for these units in C44.

I am not exactly sure what you are intending to do. On Scenario start there are always units with not having 100% Equipment as there are reinforcement units which come in with no (0%) equipment. The Production and Pools should take care of this over time, otherwise you'd end up with too many Tanks when spawning in every unit with 100% and also having the poduction as it is now.
Regarding the SS, they may have had theoretically more tanks according tho this site. 4Kp with 14 Tiger each = 56 Tigers.

If you are going to mod the OB you may have a look at this post and add 4xID:436 to those two OBs and add some Support Squads to have ~1000manpower in the OBs.

Guys

Can someone come back on the issue of the new Multi Role unit when it comes on the map has No Mps. I tried it with some others as well = no movement points. I cannot do any more on my mod until I can fix this.

Ok, thanks - these are important units - I made a separate TOE for them( I am new to this editor) . The data is locked for this specific mod, which we will test later. Any further things to add - or indeed any other units you feel ned some adjustment?

I have posted a boatload of adjustments for mostly 1943++ TOE/Squad adjustments in the Scenario Data section of the forum, there's a lot one can do. :)

Yes it's a lot of trial and error. I've never messed with breaking up of units and multi-role stuff, so no idea what needs to be looked at in this regard.

Until I work out what is wrong with a new Multi role unit having no Mps, I cannot do any more of the mod.
