GC41 Scenario with Historic Dates (VP/AP/advance/delay-Events deactivated)

This Scenario has all
  • +1VP/+1AP events
  • Campaign advances/delayed events
deactivated.
This means, that only player actions will determine VP gains/losses and that all events should happen on historical dates.

The idea:
Having your actions in TBs have an impact on the war is generally a good idea but playing a historical game with closed TBs you have no impact on them anyways. So you are at the mercy of how the system is currently set up and some randomness.
The problem with the current system is the state of the TB requirements do not match the number/strength of troops which were historically inside TBs at certain times/dates, which causes the system to trigger events too often, advancing Africa and Italy in some cases by months and adding multiple +VP/AP events for the generally overstacked WEST TB.

Hence this mod. Deactivating all those events which are making the game less historic and add randomness to the VP situation.

It is intended for:
  • Singleplayer with closed TBs
  • Multiplayer with closed TBs
  • Singleplayer with the new morale modifications (e.g. "Balance" section of Game Options)
  • Multiplayer with the new morale modifications (e.g. "Balance" section of Game Options)
  • Single-/Multiplayer with open TBs for maximum abuse of transferring as much as possible on the MAP/Eastern Front 8-)
Change List
  • Fixed 250k Manpower number in event text
  • Event texts contain the word "OFF" in the Events description
  • deactivated events / events that will no longer be activated by other events:

The mod only changes the Events. Generic data is unlocked, so updates by the Devs to Data, like TOEs, Units and so on, should all be automatically be applied to this scenario (if you start a new game after the Devs released an update).

I have used the editor to add HQ's and buildable units but the event section is hard for me to wrap my head around. Do you have a down and dirty example (or know of one, i haven't even seen a YouTube video) on how to set the events to fire on a specific date? I still want them to fire just delayed a bit.

The main Events in this Mod still should still fire, they are just not delayed/advanced by TB-check-Events (which are not historic events). Without advance/delays they should all fire at the date given under "Date:" in the Event Editor Window.
