Multi role units

Post by Von Weber »

Is it possible to change status of support units from support to multi-role? If I want some of them to be on map. If it is possible, how to make it in editor?

1. Open the Scenario you want to play in the Editor.
1.2 to access the actual "Editor window" (opening a scenario lands you on the MAP), press the X in the top left (as if you want to leave the scenario).
2. Rename the scenario by clickingnits name (top left of the main editor window you arrive in)
3. lock generic data (bottom left, click the Yes/No once to lock the data)
4. click save the scenario (bottom menu area)

....now the actual modding

5. click on UNIT (top menu line) - search for the unit you want to change
6. the unit has a TOE/OB, click its number, a window will open (close the window in top right X)
7. now you can click the TOE(OB) in the top menu line ans you will end up exactly at the TOE of your unit.
8. Now in the center there are several spezifications, one is called "Class", this one can be Combat (unit on map), Support (SU "attachable units") and Multi-Role (you can change between CU/SU).
-> Change the TOE to Multirole (so you can decide)
9. save the Scenario again
10. Done.

Thanx Wiedrock, it helped a lot! Without your detailed instruction I would never figure this out :D
Some issues in editor are still not evident for me :)
Thanks again.
