Taking the Allied side (thinking the AI needs more than Normal, overestimated based on still learning)

Night of the 18th Allied side St. Vith scenario

Job done in the center; St. Vith held I suspect would be surrounded if the scenario went longer. 9SS never showed up, just like my game as the Germans...I wonder if fuel was an issue for AI as well...

The right flank...well let's just say it got little support from the commanders, fixated on St. Vith

All in all, I had a great time playing the St. Vith scenario from both sides. As the German in the next game need to raise the Allied AI to Hard, same for mirror when I play the Allies.

Going to skip challenging, so we shall see.

And as the Germans need to manage fuel better. I'm not sure how realistic but those Panzergrenadiers may be doing a lot of walking!! And I'm starting to love horses.

Germans against Hard AI Allies, St. Vith scenario beginning of 0600 turn 17th. Attacks seemed to go well on the 16th, pushed harder with regular attacks incurring more casualties but gaining more ground and opening a nice gap on the right flank that really allowed the tanks to advance. At least 4 pzg went to foot mode. Changed main axis of attack to a more direct approach and included some of the 3FJ.
