Combat Mission Fortress Italy

The words in my game are not appearing correctly. They sometimes have portions of the letters blocked out. Is there a fix for this? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Do you mean some letters don't appear clearly? That can be either a graphics card that doesn't handle Open GL well (for example the built in Intel graphics cards). If you have a notebook with an nVidia card make sure your setup is such that the game will use the high performance card. The other possibility is the anti alias settings in the game and you video card are in conflict. Start by turning that off in the game - its somewhere on the Options screen. Then experiment with a setting that looks good on your graphics card configuration.

Thank you. I just bought this laptop and it does have an Intel graphics card. That's kinda frustrating to say the least.

That does suck. if you are playing CM on a notebook you really need one that has an nVidia card as well (note at the moment I would avoid AMD cards because they broke some Open GL APIs and have not fixed them yet). My old gaming notebook uses both. Uses the intel graphics chip for non games but has an nVidia for game play. You have to configure it to be used when you play CM.
