6 hours to reload ?

Post by nukkxx5058 »

Hi, I need to reload my fighters A7E Corsair with AGM and other stuff Mk82 but it takes nearly 6 hours. Is there something I can do to rush it ?
Why does it take so long ?
Thanks

Hi Nukkxx,

It might be worth looking at the thread stickied on the main page called *** NEW PLAYERS - READ HERE ***as it contains lots of useful links etc. Of these one of the most useful is the Mega-FAQ which contains the answers to lots of questions - particularly if something seems a bit of a quirky design decision (it rarely is !)... aircraft ceiling heights, max speeds, torpedo ranges and Why does it take 6 hours to prepare my strike aircraft for a sortie?

Seriously, even without a particular question it's worth a read... I learnt loads I didn't even know I didn't know.

Yup yup...... It is a very interesting and good to read that mikmik has has suggested......

You end up working around it or working with it… And it is one of the factors that establish/dictate op tempo..... Therefore planning becomes critical important…… This game is an intellectual management simulator…

+1 to maji

Use editor to do some rehearsals or testing to find out all the issues, and then SEARCH for the relative questions and answers before opening a new thread.

Like put an airfields, add some jets and ammunition, then find out their reloading duration in different loadouts. Also, it is not just reloading weaponries matters the time, but also landing, taxiing and refueling costing you some hours too.

Hi, no, not at all. I want the simulation to be as realistic as possible. :-)
I'm not a specialist at military operations and was just surprised it takes so long to reload a plane.

I'm guessing you're playing the tutorial scenario for air ops which has a 4 hour time limit? it is meant for just one strike and thats it. So do your planning, create your missions or however you want to do it and then once they've expended their munitions, it ends. I enjoyed that tutorial, got me into the game nicely.
