Anyone experience the program hanging up on launch ("Loading, please wait. . . ") after installing the updated DB images? I just posted on Tech Support.

Hi,

I've been asked to post this comment I made elsewhere here.

I’ve noticed that the Chilean cruiser Almirante Latorre is using the incorrect image in Command : Modern Operations. It shows the Argentinian Veinticinco de Mayo-class cruiser instead of the correct one.

This was using the Cold War Database, and the ship is "#1786 - CL 04 Latorre (Chile -1971)" and I had the date as 1978.

I think its using image "Ship_1786" but I think it should be image "Ship_1785".

The image it's currently using is the Argentine Veinticinco de Mayo-class cruisers which don't seem to be in game.

I hope that helps or makes sense!

There is at less 1 scenario with this topic (Beagle conflict), Operacion Soberanía, 1978 by Miguel Molina.

The Chilean cruiser is present, and this is the pic used.

But not the Argentinian, the Veinticinco de Mayo is the carrier, not the cruiser

This is the best pic of cruiser Almirante Latorre that could find, I think the Chilean flag is visible.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a replacement ready for it in the next (post July 4) update.

For a bit more immersion in the game, I decided to complete some weapon databases. I've just finished the 20mm and 25mm sections at 100%. Some were hard to find, especially with the exact variant real picture, but I can say that around 95% are done with the exact variant model. I'm currently working on the 30mm section.

I did this for personal use, but since it required hours of work (especially searching for and finding the exact model), I think it's worth sharing.

This is my first time here on the forum, so I'm not sure how things usually work. If I can post a link or not, or which method is used to share. I will post a drive link—please correct me if needed.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

I will try to complete and post more sections on weapons in the next few days.

This end of the munitions chain is severely neglected. Thanks for stepping up.

Thank you for doing this. We'll integrate it into the next image photo release.

Updated image packs are now available on the WS downloads page!

The CWDB update is now 1.52 GB, and contains 8063 files, and the DB3000 update is not 3.15 GB and contains 16,949 files. Also updated is the secondary image files pack, which contains a total of 508 MB and 4,485 images.

The images can also be downloaded on-demand from within CMO (no manual action needed). If you wish to re-download images that you have already got (e.g. to update), delete all files in these folders:
[CMO]\DB\Images\DB3000
[CMO]\DB\Images\CWDB

Once more, special recognition for this release to Kgambit !

Here are some additional weapons: 20mm,25mm,30mm, 57mm, 76mm, 127mm, and 130mm, all completed.

DB3000 and CWDB

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... drive_link

around 5% are just variant versions (which generally look the same) as I couldn't find images of the exact variant.
