Questions about Broken Shield 300

Post by cristianwj »

I'v bought broken shield yesterday, here is my questions:
1. The UAV in Tel Nof seems attached very strong AESA pod named Eitan, which can detect all S-300 from very long distance. The satellites and infomations from Mosad seems useless in this situation.
2. Special force couldn't get on the helicopter, even I hover the helicraft nearby with 50ft high. After several minutes, pop message told me SF were captured. If I lauched missiles to kill SF, then I can move on without penalty scores.
Does anyone meet same problem in this scenario?

No Spoilers. but for Q:1 you need to keep playing. read the brief very carefully around the numbers of S-300 systems you are looking for. No more hints :-)

The AESA pod on the Eitan is a very powerful tool. But it's not a silver bullet - it can't reveal all positions ... and not all positions represent real SAMs that are your targets. It's just one of the tools you have and if you use it right you can map most of the IADS for easier planning of the SEAD operation.

FWIW, I also wasn’t able to rescue the special forces team. I hovered for a while and also tried to pick up both to no avail. There’s a mobile unit in the same space as the stranded unit, which is odd. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Eventually, I targeted that mobile unit, thereby destroying the SF unit to avoid losing the points. As did the OP.

I was able to rescue the SF team in the version released today, but not the one I originally purchased. Make sure you're hovering at min altitude. Actually, in the version I played today and succeeded, my helo was at Loiter speed and 50' AGL when I was team was picked up.

I could get the team out of Gaza, but downed aircrew in Syria stayed in Syria..[&:]
A case of: what happens in Syria, stays in Syria? [;)]

This is the corrupted memory error in the LUA engine. Reloading the game might fix it, but there will be patch soon addressing the issue that affects all LUA heavy scenarios.
