Aegean in Flames - further reading

Post by chrisol »

Hi,

Don't think this has been posted... The Economist had a nice article on tensions in the Eastern Mediterrean (partic between Turkey and Greece, but also where Israel, Egypt and Libya stand on this):

https://www.economist.com/international ... iterranean

Provides excellent background to the Aegean in Flames DLC, and includes a map which demonstrates some of the complexity in ownership of natural resources in the region:

Best wishes,

Chris

Provides an excellent real world example to think about when playing this DLC!

Not sure how to defend an island so close to Turkey.
