Command Air/Naval Operations receives a stand-alone expansion!

Command: Northern Inferno is a DLC for Command: Modern Operations. Set in 1975, the Cold War is omnipresent and beneath the veneer of détente the tension between the two superpowers irreversibly escalate towards the ultimate confrontation.

when i did try to uninstall it it wouldn't uninstall properly.so i've left mine as it is with two versions.

Another thing that might help is that my original version is not the game of the year version. Mine was before it got that name so the install default given was different. I changed it to what mine was and where it was. It could be a reason.

Will uninstalling the one get rid of the duplicate or all of it. (i did experience issues when i attempted to uninstall as it just hanged. i assuming it was confused as to which version to delete)

Are there any plans of releasing NI as a DLC for CMANO - WOTY (steam)?
I understand you will make this available for non CMANO owners but the owners maybe do not want to have two games in their steam lib. (like me :)).
You can make it the same price and its not that difficult to implement... am i right?

It took me a little over 10 min to download the +3Gb on a fast connection.

Installation took close to 40min once I'd worked out I'd no need of a NI serial number and, more importantly, not too use the new installation folder but to  install it over the top of my existing CMANO.

The only other little niggle I had was it changed all my game preferences back to default. (e.g. it turn the music back on).

Apart from that everything went Ok.   Good job guys.

There should be two text boxes if you're installing NI to Command. One for Command and the other for NI. You need to put each serial for both in the correct textbox. Your NI one should have come with the order and your command one you hopefully saved or there is a text file in your command directory that has it stored (serialreg.txt). If for whatever reason the NI serial doesn't work please first try and copying and pasting it and if that doesn't work contact matrix support and they'll help you out. If you don't hear from them please ping me. Overall though let us know how this goes.

Thanks!

Mike

maybe i didnt notice something, but how can I obtain that new code?
Maybe make a closed thread in the forum for people like me?
Or it should be written somewhere during instalaltion, laud and clear how to make it.

Unless i missed something and its my foult

(and yes, I did copy and paste from the serialreg.txt)

Very good move by Warfaresims and Matrix/Slitherine. People who want to have a taste of Command now have a cheap and good alternative to check it out.
