2nd Patch Question

Post by Frido1207 »

As far as I understand, the Japanese are now severly
hampered in their early advancements.

How does this turn out in playing against the AI?

Reason I'm asking:
Playing the Allies (v 100.01), the Japanese AI advances quite slowly.
She captured Batavia in turn 5.
And in the Solomons she only captured Rabaul (as of now: turn 9, April 42)
The units are mainly concentrated in Burma, China, Philippines,
Borneo, Sumatra.

Will the new patch mean, the AI will take even more time to expand?

In one of the discussions on this issue Alvaro said that one of the reasons he made the Allies so weak was to allow the AI to achieve the early objectives. but I think most of us would prefer a good pbem game rather then stacking it so the AI can maybe do something, they always going to be sub par anyway. Turn 5 isn't to bad still quicker than history.

The A.I. is still relatively the same speed. Humans discovered strategies to go super speed. I just changed things that really didn't impact the A.I. but hampered humans.

So now both should be closer on their time tables but not breaking the game.
