Strategy Gaming Dojo is doing a swell job showcasing the game with a tutorial. He has had experience with WitP and likes Warplan: Pacific.

It is very informative and well presented.

As Dojo is a very competent WITP player I will be very interested to see how he gets on v the Japanese AI.

My suspicion is this is a game that will excel most H2H on pbem but I would love to be proved wrong [:)]

Agreed. I've been watching his WitP series and now his Warplan Pacific and both are really well presented.

I must be getting old because I’m having a hard time getting comfortable with the UI and gameplay (and I go back to Uncommon Valor). I did a no frills black and white print out at Staples, hoping a hardcopy manual will wake up my pre-senile brain. It will be worth the fifteen bucks if it helps me get a handle on this impressive game.
