WarPlan Pacific - Allied Campaign (video)

Post by *Lava* »

In this video I play the Allies vs the Japanese AI on normal. It is meant to show the game from a strategic level and therefore is not one of game play. The result is a decisive victory for the allies but as it is my first campaign, it is characterized by many mistakes on my part, yet interesting for the interplay which occurs with the AI especially with respect to the war at sea.

I apologize, once again, for the length of the video.

You can find the video here:

Congratulations on your victory. Did not watch the video yet but will do. [:)]

The CV fights are the interesting ones. There are 5 of them. Must admit I was mostly interesting in that, while the rest was kind of a practice game through the campaign to see how it works.

No nuclear bombs. Thought there were nuclear bomb events.

The Japanese AI also failed to take all of Malaya, I believe, and this allowed me to move allied troops into the Japanese rear in reconquering Indo China. I also thought the Japanese attack on China was a little strange. They seemed to want to attack heavily in the North, while the best lines of communication are to the South.

I watched some of your video where you whipped ass in Malaya killing some Japanese units, and the pocket you made of them in China. Seems like you are an elite player.

Will you try Japan next? I think Malaya should be quite hard to take as Japan. I just watched the new video about them taking over Malaya and they used really good tactics and had tanks which helped a lot to break through and overran a rest area where British units were trashed, although some tanks were ambushed and wrecked by the Australians who always have the goods.

Here is the real story about Malaya.

Just played on normal, so not so elite.

Need to give the AI some more help here so it is more aggressive.

Then we'll see what happens.

Maybe you should do a popular youtube series about this game. You can become famous like Joe Rogan with 11 million followers.

Well, I have done a number of videos about the game, but I do these things as a hobby. I'm an old man who makes stupid comments, bizarre errors and so forth.

I think I have 94 subscribers. [;)]

94 subs is pretty good. That is more than Joe Rogan had during his first podcast.
