Empires in Arms is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. Empires in Arms is a seven player game of grand strategy set during the Napoleonic period of 1805-1815. The unit scale is corps level with full diplomatic options

Just found out about the game. It looks to be what I've been waiting for (for the better part of a decade).

My wishlist would be:

1. Good AI (not too fussed about the graphics).
2. Expandability of the basic engine (don't know if it works this way, but it would be good if the same engine could be applied to similar games - ACW, WW1, 100 yrs war etc). That would go some way to addressing the lack of historical grand strategic games on the market.

Anyway, Good Luck and keep us posted if you need playtesters etc (don't worry, I'll buy in advance!).

yes I to would be VERY interested in playtesting and buying in advance. But we should start with a progress report of some sort. This forum has been lifless since before christmas.
