It should be in the reports tab in the decision room (tech area).

While I'm here can I continue to plead for a 'or' option for tech requirements and multiple upgrade options for SFTs and multiple blocks for Items? [&o]

I would like an option to export the map to .pdf.  This would be nice for PBEM games, as you could take time between turns to get a detailed look at the map.

you can turn screenshots on. that should make an auto screenshot at start and end of turn.
there is also a rulevar in which you can set these screenshots to 1:1 resolution (normally its at 1:4)

best,
vic

to either the logs/ or the screenshots/ directory.
you can find those in the same directory as the AdvancedTacticsGold.exe is located.

Its rulevar 850. I just saw it even allows you to make screenshots at whopping 128x96 hex size resolution.

I wish major and minor rivers could be shown clearly on the map [8|]. Now it´s not easy to distinguish, what about different colors?

Every time I offer an alliance all of the players know I´m doing it. It should be a secret. I find it absurd. I wish alliances were public only when are accepted.

What I would like to have is some kind of intel service. Spy network or something similar. Would be nice to get, even if vage, information on how far an enemy is researching. Playing on a very large map I have 1 nation on my border, which I can see but maybe another 5 behind them hidden from all my units. Do they still exist? Are they powerful? What kind of weapons do they have? Do I need a powerful airforce or will Inf suffice? Am I strong enough to attack or should I prepare for an attack?

I hate it to build up a Army group just to find that I need AT guns rather than FLaK, as an example. I don't like to play with FOW turned off, then there is no fun at all. But playing on large map makes the game last a little longer but it hurts that the AI can research so fast and build huge amounts of division as well. So intel might be able to balance the game a little.

All armies have some kind of intel service be they good or bad, someone is always there. Even if we get a kind of rumour posted at the beginning of every turn.
"Light tanks II of Nation xxx have been supposedly seen on training manuvers." "Nation xxx has built a xxx factory" "Medium tanks have been sighted moving to the frontline"
Then I can react a bit by investing in research or think let them come. Can I research fast enough to compete? Will my defenses hold long enough before I can build enough weapons to counter their army?

Maybe even having a "Spy network" of "Intel" card that can be played for a certain amount of PP.

Not sure how much work is needed for such a thing, but this is a wishlist thread. And I know not all wishes can be fulfilled.

I would like "cheap research" to be a push-button option in the random game set-up menu.  I know you can achieve this through the use of a rulevar or something, but for those of us who are ignorant and proud of it, it would be nice to have a button.

It would be great the existence of a new resource: Minerals. It includes stone and coal. At the moment building roads, factories or fortresses requires only raw (supposedly metals). I know it would be a great change for ATG, cos buildings need raw and minerals for their construction. Also trains would need minerals(coal)to start moving. It might be possible for a future version of Advanced Tactics or a mod.

You can say it can be modded, however not everybody have the ability or the time to do it. Since resources are probably the most important factor in war (without it you cannot build buildings or roads, move or buy any kind of vehicles), we should consider it seriously.

I think a new type of terrain is neccesary: broad or major rivers.

In the Landscape stats major and minor rivers are called "River" and "Stream". I suppose that there are no "major rivers" since they should be impassable for almost all units.

I also miss fords: natural bridges in streams or rivers. It can be done creating a scenario (a plain between two rivers), but in the random maps never appear. Fords can have an important strategic value in a conflict.

I'd like the fraction of the range at which fighters intercept to be a sft variable and not a global one. That way you can have interceptors with shorter range but ability to intercept all of it and escort fighters with longer range but no interception ability.

I would like

- a check that counts the number of hexes in a slot and returns that number.
- a check that checks if a certain people is present in a unit.
- Naval unit SFT hitpoints (like in Empire)
- quickbuttons in the editor for placing predef units on the map from the main window (1, for predef1 2 for predef2, maybe *16* for predef 16 etc).

+1 for the above [:)]

I'd also like to be able to change the limit of EP stored by SFT to give some units a small construction ability that would quickly regenerate (for a non-WWII mod)
Multiple upgrade options for SFTs
Multiple blocks for Items
A research option that requires only one of the two prerequisits to be met.

In the statistics>supply screen, I would like to have more information on the unit clicked on, such as its SF name, without having to leave the screen to identify it.

This is already possible by changing rulewar42 (max rounds EPs can be stored & EP (EPs gained per round) in the SFT section.

1-I wish produced units were placed in the same city or factory that they are made. If you have a HQ in that hex, then you could transport it in the same way and cost than transfer units. It´s really odd to have a factory in a far island and for the next turn the unit produced appear in a distant and unconnected continent because you´ve assigned a distant HQ to the factory.

2-I fear that the AI have a little possibility to declare war to a Human Player. I´ve noticed it playing solitaire games. It should be changed, you know the human player doesn´t need any advantage [:D]
