SFTypes for unit

Post by lssah »

Hi Vic,I need your help...

Can I restrict (for historical reasons) the maximum number of a specific SFTypes for unit? by an event?
For example: max of Legionary Cohors possible for a single unit = 10 (Standard for a Roman Legion)

Thanks!

PS: Sorry for my english!

This reminds me somewhat on something we have been discussing some time ago; unit templates. In order to avoid a clickfest (that is unnecessary mouse clicks) we discussed the creation of unit templates, that is a "fixed unit" ( that you can create to your own taste). So you create an "Inf unit" say 40 Rifles plus some Mg's Mortars and AT guns. Now all you have to do is click that five times to create five exact the same units. Your example would be such an unit template. But... that still would make it possible to "overload" it with unhistoric troops.

Is this scenario available?
Favoritism is alive and well here.

No it is indeed not possible in ATG. The player is basically able to do whatever he pleases to do.

However possible workaround include:

1. script events that inform the player of non-standard legions and penalize them for doing so.

2. dont allow the player to transfer troops or create units himself and take care of all this by actioncards and scripting.

best,
Vic
