Of course, the USA would never do anything like this without being defeated.

In the above post I was not referring to Falco, but to the actual behavior of a nation, the USA, in RL.

So your saying in REAL LIFE the United States would not have gifted their entire country and dependent minor powers to the Japanese, thanks for the historical insight.[:D]

If Falco can do us the favour of providing the Japanese with his password, Larry can return the US to itself and play them as a separate power. Or if Larry does not want to play the US I would be happy to take over.

Hey guys! I think I'm finally an experienced player, though not a great player. I want to say, though I don't want to give away Soviet weaknesses, I think the players in this game generally know them. So... I have some fuel shortages which keep Russian reinforcements from reaching the front in a timely manner. I don't think this game is over by any means, and am sorry that the US/Japan situation has played out this way after such a good game for so long. My concern is that any way this game goes now, whether Japan or China take over the USA and its economic might is diminished, or that the game is rolled back and the USA (Falco's) password is given to either the China or Japanese player along with its economic might, the game will be affected in a serious way. Any ideas or conjectures on how the game will change for or against the alliances? [&:]

Heres an idea.....how about you doing us the favour of butting out of this discussion as you were the main cause of this situation in the first place. I think Larry and I are more than capable of working this out ourselves.

Care to elaborate on the offence I am supposed to have committed I am at a loss, you told me you were preparing to invade Murmansk I advised that as every single Atlantic base was controlled by the Axis the concern was that a landing by the Axis was likely to occur very soon on the North American East Coast and low and behold the Axis landed at Halifax Nova Scotia that very turn. I have been told that there is no longer a US fleet in the Atlantic it has been completely destroyed or reduced to such a low level that it may as well be, that is a first I have known players lose some but not all of the US Atlantic fleet.

You then started to throw words like lies around you have already verbally abused Bombur in game and at this point I don't much care what you do or do not do. As to butting out you tend to use phrases like "you were the main cause of this situation" without substantiating the statement. I put your row with Bomber down to six of one and half a dozen of the other I am having to rethink that and place the blame totally on you.

All the above is factual I do not have a expectation that your response will be.

And this is hilarious look at chucks post below I told you that I had seen 100+ U-Boats in the Indian Ocean I think you called me a liar, I think you can take Chucks post as confirmation that the information I gave you was accurate.

7th December 1941

The waters of the Indian Ocean off Bombay were uneasy with the wakes of mighty fleets. Japanese and Chinese fleets patroled the coast near the land battles between Soviet and Japanese troops. Mighty battleships guarded the eleven Chinese fleet carriers. Destroyers in abundance patrolled nearby. There was one flaw, because of the fear of friendly fire, none of these forces were ready to attack without positive identification. The coordination between Japanese and Chinese was just not good enough, and no one really believe the Soviets had forces that could challenge the massive fleets.

Below the uneasy seas another skilled force traveled at a stealthy crawl. German U-boats, veterans, were taking up positions. Sealed orders were opened, and beligerency between Germany and China was revealed. The declaration of war would be delivered at 1:15PM, and the first torpedos would be released at 1:30. Not one torpedo was released early. Few missed their targets.

Soviet and Japanese soldiers looked out to sea to view columns of smoke. Eleven carriers, 70 aircraft, 5 very large battleships, and 75 destroyers burned and sank. None of the U-boats in the strike force survived.

The USSR has declared this a day of national mourning for our brave German Ally and their UBoat Captains and crews. Soviet troop morale is at an all time high now!

I think we should end this game and hand victory to the German/Italy/Soviet coalition. They played a great game, and, more important, they did good diplomacy. I don´t know how the Chinese/Japanese/USA coalition can win if the USA is given to Japan (I tried to explain a thousand times to falco that it results in a HUGE decrease in production rates). It´s also difficult to go back to USA´s turn, given the big victory obtained by the German forces in this naval battle. An alternative is to have Japan give back the USA assets to its original owner. GB will be soon reduced to Australia and I cannot do any alliance because the USA is at war with me (a war that was useless to him, unless he wanted to invite the Germans to America. I´m sorry that my bad diplomacy helped to ruin what would be an epic game. As ironduke said, the row is 50% my fault. I never wanted to break my alliance with the USA, but was really upset that he not only refused to play any role in the war but also that he was unable to pay attention to what his allies said.

Btw, the GB forces were sending intel to China about German activities in the Atlantic, hence his warns to the USA player about an impeding invasion of Canada. The Cinese were attempting to mediate a peace agreement between USA and Canada, without any success.

Makes more sense to play the game out make the USSR and Germany/Italy earn the victory, it would also be fair to allow the new USA player some time to get his house in order before he can be attacked. After the Japanese have handed the US back to the US player who ever that might be.

Of course, my suggestion assumes that the USA won´t get back its territories. If Japan hands back the territories to USA it´s ok. But I´m against a pause for the Germans, the USA player must keep the house in order while defending against Germany.

8th December 1941

The last city in the British Isles to host British troops has fallen. Much of the production has yet to come back online.

============ The USA-Japan Dilemma =============

I am only speaking for myself here.

It would be Ok with me if Larry changed the former US territory and forces back to the USA again. Japan can make the change on the Japanese tur,n and then play the Americans later in the turn. Germany will take awhile to recover from the conquest of the British Isles. This will make for a natural pause, but the Germans and Italians will wage war on all enemies. The KM is strong, but so are the Japanese and Chinese. There is a lot of life in this game yet.

The Soviets seem quite capable and may take the game and run with it.

And I told you to mind your own bloody business as what happens on the east coast of the North American continent is my concern, not yours. In any event, I couldnt get forces to the landing in that turn because I'd returned control of the remaining territory back to the British.

I have been told that there is no longer a US fleet in the Atlantic it has been completely destroyed or reduced to such a low level that it may as well be, that is a first I have known players lose some but not all of the US Atlantic fleet.

This was a genuine oversight on my part. The 'Fleet'(actually a motley collection of S.American pre-WW2 battleships, cruisers and destroyers) were based at the Azores, at the request of the British. I simply forgot about them in my anger when I declared war on the British. The more modern US ships had been sent over to the Pacific for the planned assault on Archangelsk/Murmsk.

you have already verbally abused Bombur in game

Care to provide some evidence of this...?

and at this point I don't much care what you do or do not do.

The feeling is mutual pal.

As to butting out you tend to use phrases like "you were the main cause of this situation" without substantiating the statement.

Here are some of the messages I received from you:

The only area I had mentioned to you previously was the Archangelsk/Murmsk area which I already had some subs etc in. I assumed that this was the area you were talking about. Then you tell me to give the operation a miss. Yeah right! Like I'm just going to drop all my plans and bend over for you.

No, my mistake WAS paying attention to what my allies said.

My messages are damning indeed how could I be as rude as to try to give you advice I most certainly will never attempt to give you advice again.
And I told you to mind your own bloody business

I think here is your problem you have no filter for rudeness.
