more than 8 unit?

Wish to have more than 8 units visible in a formations but its hard coded I think. U can put more than 8 in predefined units in editor and build it ingame, its look same as in hq and looks more like Operational Art of War( but its not same as seeing the pictures )
German example Infantry, Pioneers, recon, mortar 50 and 81, anti tank, anti tank rifle, inf Gun 75mm and 150mm, flak, later self propelled gun and panzerschreck and all artillery. Wounder also if I combine mortar and mortar II as one unit in same picture what combat stat will it be, mortar plus mortar II combat stat?
