Version 2 of this scenario is close to completion. It includes several of the ideas suggested on the forums including a slightly slower US gear up which now costs the US political points. Factory repair rate is now faster. Oil used when attacking is a bit less which should help Germany maintain its momentum through 1941. A couple of potential exploits have also been fixed. There are over 20 changes in all.

If it is going to take a little while to get a new game organized, the update should be available soon after Christmas day.

Let me know if you can wait and I'll put the new version in Dropbox as soon as possible, along with a list of what has changed. It will also be posted on the VR Designs website once the game manual has been brought up to date.

Version 2 has been uploaded to Dropbox. falco and LJBurstyn should have access.

My computer is ailing, should I fail to reply promptly to any queries that is likely the reason.

Bug alert: In Triumph v2 the Canadians have a research centre south of Toronto. This produces the normal 150PP per turn, but if you play a scientist card on the Canadian research centre it will not add a scientist to the map.

Workaround is to play all Commonwealth scientist cards on the research centre in Australia.

OK, i didnt expect this since apparently Germany has the option to attack spain, but then who plays Norway? its allied to the west. couldn't they just be grouped to the allied player? instead of back and forth turns for minor neutrals..

Agree with you. It might be best I play Spain as it is played right aftre SU. Next turn zhen will be Norway, that should be played by allied player. This way we can pass the turn form SU-player directly to GB-player.

Played Spain now and uploaded the turn for Norway.

PROBLEM:

Some thing I noticed.

Scout Car: Can be Produced. Cannot be researched. Can be added to TOE.
Armored Car: Can be Produced. Cannot be researched. Can be added to TOE.
Tracked AA or SP AA: Can be Produced. Cannot be researched. Cannot be added to TOE.

I've done my turn...Your up France.

Scout Cars and Armoured Cars are functionally identical. The Allies build armoured cards, everyone else gets scout cards. Everyone can build their Regime's appropriate unit right from the start. There are no level II or higher versions of these units so no research is needed. However in the TOE Regimes are able to select either type, which is confusing. I'll try to correct this.

SP AA is a bit like Recon air (which goes up in tech levels automatically as better fighters are produced). SPAA requires no research and better versions become available when Regimes achieve matching tech levels of Halftracks and Flak. However the game contains an error which prevents SP AA showing up in the TOE. Will fix.

Thanks for the feedback.
