Voice lines in AB II

Post by lukai42 »

Are there any plans to add voice lines for different units in AB II, such as when you click a unit, order a unit to do something, when a unit spots something or is engaged, or random radio calls from units in combat like ''we are under heavy fire'' or ''man down'' ect.. . I was playing AB I and noticed how eerily quiet it is even in heavy combat.

Alas, I don't know the answer to your question, but may I ask: are you an old Close Combat player who sees Armored Brigade as Close Combat's natural successor?

No worries

The Close Combat games are a series which go back to the 1990s.

For example: https://www.matrixgames.com/game/close- ... and-arnhem

You give an excellent description here of what I took to be Close Combat, which once you get into the thick of it, reverberates to voice calls, small arms fire and explosions.

Some of us in the Close Combat community had/ have high hopes that Armored Brigade might turn out to be Close Combat VI. There is some degree of overlap between the two games.

Anyway, I apologise for hijacking your thread, wish you well, ... and echo your original question.
