Trouble merging layers

Has anyone had this particular problem? I was following the tutorial, right up to the point in QGIS where you have to Raster/Misc/merge,and it throws up the error 'Invalid value for parameter 'input layers'.

Any thoughts what I may be doing wrong?

Hi Nikolas, it should be the latest one, QGIS 3.14.1.

When I run the two layers, it says 'wrong or missing Parameter value:input layers.

Do you want the files I downloaded to see if the same thing happens for you?

Thats absolutely fine, im just pleased someone is looking at it. Hope he isnt too bad btw.
